Reason:

• Local Land Charges have informed us of a system upgrade between Wednesday 22nd July 2026 to Friday 24th July 2026. Searches submitted after Tuesday 21st July 2026, will not be accepted until Monday 27th July 2026 and no searches will be returned during the system downtime.

  As this Local Authority are migrated with Land Registry, LLC1 only requests can be processed and returned.

Expected Delay:

• The oldest outstanding search is from Friday 3rd July 2026 in which Local Land Charges are aiming to return this prior to the downtime. Searches submitted from Wednesday 22nd July 2026 onwards will be returned within 10 working days.

Options:

• What we can offer is to provide a search delayed indemnity policy. If you would like to proceed with this option, then please send us the limit of indemnity so we can provide you with an accurate quote. Otherwise, we will keep chasing the Local Authority and have the completed search back with you as soon as possible.
