Reason:

• Local Land Charges have informed us of a system upgrade between Friday 3rd July 2026 and Thursday 9th July 2026. Searches submitted after 12pm on Friday 3rd July 2026, will not be accepted until Friday 10th July 2026 and no searches will be returned during the system downtime.

Expected Delay:

• The oldest outstanding search is from Thursday 18th June 2026 in which Local Land Charges are aiming to return this prior to the downtime.
  
  Their cancellation policy remains the same as cannot cancel once accepted.
  
  Local Land Charges will be completing searches in date and time order when their services resume.
  
  Next update: Friday 10th July 2026.
   

Options:

• What we can offer is to provide a search delayed indemnity policy. If you would like to proceed with this option, then please send us the limit of indemnity so we can provide you with an accurate quote. Otherwise, we will keep chasing the Local Authority and have the completed search back with you as soon as possible.
