Reason:

• As part of the ongoing North Yorkshire Council consolidation project, Hambleton Council (Commercial: 1LA00700 and Residential: 1LA00146) and Selby Council (Commercial: 1LA00707 and Residential: 1LA00290) have confirmed that they are ready to move to the next phase of the project.
  
  During this phase, Local Land Charges will be unable to process new search requests between Monday 6th July 2026 and Tuesday 4th August 2026.

Expected Delay:

• Searches submitted via the North Yorkshire accounts during this period will be processed and returned after Tuesday 4th August 2026, with an estimated turnaround time of 25 working days from the date of submission.

Options:

• What we can offer is to provide a search delayed indemnity policy.
