This article contains release notes for the recent UX and UI changes made to Unity® Practice Management.
Over the past few months, UX and UI changes have been made in these modules:
- Ledgers
- Case Summary
- Address Book
- Client Contact
Ledgers
- We’ve added a condensed view to allow you to see more on the screen.
- Improvements have been made to load times; ledgers with potentially thousands of entries can now load much faster using a more modern presentation of that information.
- We have made the following changes across all four of our ledgers: the office ledger, client ledger, the deposit ledger, and the time ledger.
| All of the existing functionality that you had in your previous version of the ledgers still exists. |
Case Summary
- We’ve made a lot of progress with this module over the last few years, modernising a range of screens.
- Many of the form entries within the screens were older and less efficient, so each segment has now been improved.
Address Book
- In the Address Book, you now have a new grid and style.
- You can view the maps of each address and copy those to your clipboard if you want to.
- If you'd like to edit, you get the familiar pop-out box. When you add a new address, you will get the familiar slide-out form that you see across journeys.
- New editing options have been added for phone numbers, including a new style grid and the ability to add new phone numbers.
Client Contact
- In the contact screen, there is a new style grid, with an option to edit contacts as you wish.
- You can copy fields quite easily by clicking within them. We have designed this form to improve efficiencies when entering large amounts of information.
- You can also add a new contact, with the familiar slide over to enter the contact details.
