• Local Land Charges have advised that they will not be in the office from Wednesday 15th July 2026 to Friday 31st July 2026 due to annual leave. No searches will be processed or returned within this time as unfortunately there is no one available to cover the work.

Expected Delay:

• Local Land Charges have increased their turnaround time from 5 to 20 working days to account for the downtime, effective from searches submitted from Thursday 9th July 2026.

Options:

• What we can offer is to provide a search delayed indemnity policy. If you would like to proceed with this option, then please send us the limit of indemnity so we can provide you with an accurate quote. Otherwise, we will keep chasing the Local Authority and have the completed search back with you as soon as possible.
