Reason:

• Local Land Charges have informed us of a system upgrade between Thursday 10th September 2026 to Friday 25th September 2026. Searches submitted after 5pm on Wednesday 9th September 2026, will not be accepted until Friday 25th September 2026 and no searches will be returned during the system downtime.

  As this Local Authority are migrated with Land Registry, LLC1 only requests can be processed and returned. Searches that have been submitted from Tuesday 1st September 2026 onwards will be returned within 25 working days.

Expected Delay:

• Their cancellation policy remains the same as can only cancel on day of submission.

• What we can offer is to provide a search delayed indemnity policy. If you would like to proceed with this option, then please send us the limit of indemnity so we can provide you with an accurate quote. Otherwise, we will keep chasing the Local Authority and have the completed search back with you as soon as possible.
