Reason:

• Local Land Charges have informed us due to planned essential software changes and data migration, there will be a temporary disruption from Thursday 9th April 2026 until Thursday 30th April 2026 to the South Oxfordshire District Council and Vale of White Horse District Council Local Land Charges service in which no searches can be processed or returned.

Update 15/06/2026:

• Further to the notification issued on Monday 1st June 2026, the Local Land Charges team have advised that they are expecting the new system to be operational this week. At present, no workaround is available so searches are still unable to be processed or returned until the new system is live.
  
  We will continue to liaise with the Local Land Charges Manager throughout the week and will provide an update once the system is fully active and operational again.

Expected Delay:

• Local Land Charges have increased their turnaround time from 55 to 70 working days to account for the further delay.

Options:

Otherwise, we will keep chasing the Local Authority and have the completed search back with you as soon as possible.
