If you have received the error "Invalid document id, click here for more details" then you are attempting to upload a document with a documentId that already exists in Unity® Practice Management.

DocumentId's are sometimes held within a documents properties. Each document must have a unique Id, a document revision where there is a document in the library sharing the same documentId causes this error

In order to resolve this issue you will need to follow the steps outlined below:

1. Open the document you are trying to upload.
2. Within word, on the toolbar, click on file.
3. On the menu select "info"
4. Select properties on the right of the screen and then advanced properties from the drop down. 
5. Click on the custom tab. You will see the documentId in the grid at the bottom. 

At the top of this window, under the name heading, select the documentId from the scroll list and then once highlighted, press the delete button.
