This article describes how to place a conveyancing order within Unity® Search

1. On the home page of Unity to place a conveyancing order select Conveyancing Search

2. It will bring you to the Create Order page,  select the property type, confirm if it is a new build and create your own case reference as shown below:

3. Enter the address of your property you require by
   • Typing the address
   • Title number
   • Manually entering
   • The Easting and Northings coordinates

4. Next there are two options you may proceed with:

  • You can place the order with the file plan attached and go ahead without using the polygon that automatically generates.    (N.B. - we do not accept more than one file plan)
  • Confirm the boundary of the polygon and proceed with this.

This is an example of the polygon that normally automatically highlights the boundary for you:

5. Ensure that the boundary is correct before proceeding with 'Confirm Mapping'
   • If you require to edit the boundary select 'Edit Mapping' 

1. Click 'Next' ,  you will be brought onto our products page where you can choose all the searches you require for this transaction.
2. Once all the products are in your basket click 'Proceed with Order'
3. Add your client's name
4. Three additional road names can be added for your local search if required
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and place your order

Placing an Order with Multiple Plan/Titles 

When placing an order with multiple plans or titles, outline the entire search area on the Polygon. Then, do not upload any plans to avoid confusion (see example below).
