In this article, we look at how to transfer time recording between matters.

To start, let’s head to Utilities > Transfer Time. 

1. Enter the Matter number where you would like to move the time recording from.
2.  Then click the Find icon. All the time recordings related to this Matter will then be listed. 
3. Next, let’s enter the Matter Code where you’d like to move the time recording to. Again, once done, click Find.
4. We can then select the items that you would like to move, then use the Transfer arrows at the bottom of the page. For this example, we’ll select the item with the 997 ID code, then click the transfer button to move the item like so.
5. If you made a mistake and would like to move an item back, you can simply select the item, then use the left transfer arrow button. Once you click close, the necessary changes will be saved.
