This article will walk you through how to view and manage document lists in Unity® Practice Management.
| Folders are customizable per case type, and you can contact support for amendments to view your documents. |
Managing Document Lists
- Navigate to File on the left-hand side and select Document List. In here, you will see some subfolders that are already created for you.
- If you'd like to make any changes, hover over the three dots and you'll have an additional menu for the following actions for each folder:
- Create
- Rename
- Move
- Delete
- To see what's saved in them, click on the folder name and on the right-hand side, you will be able to see the items that are saved within it.
- If you do not want to click into all of these subfolders, but you'd like to see everything within them, just click on All case documents in blue and anything saved within the items in the subfolders are now in one view for you to see.
- You can change the Group By filter by Ungrouping and Version, and you can change the order by Name ascending and Descending, Date ascending and Date Descending as well.
Viewing Document Lists
- If you're looking for a specific item, type a keyword in the Search Box at the top and it will check the subject as well as the body of the item.
- To view an item, click on it and on the right-hand side you will get a preview, or you can go to the far-right hand side and click on red, and it'll open up the item in a bigger view.
On the far right you also have a download button, and an option to move to recycle bin.
Any items that go into Recycle Bin are not deleted forever. You can always go back in the recycle bin and recover the items to restore them back into your case.
Managing List Items
- To move an item into a different subfolder, just hover over the icons drag and drop the item into the correct subfolder.
- If you tick an item checkbox, you will get an additional menu on the top left for bulk actions. In here you will see multiple options to:
- Zip and download
- Convert to PDF
- Move to Recycle Bin
- On the far right, you will also have your Upload button. This will take you to your local directory and you can upload any items you want. You also have the option of dragging and dropping items directly into this area.
