This article shows how post an Office Disbursement within Insight Legal.
Office Disbursements
- Select Accounts and Client from within the posting group
- In Matter Lookup search for and select the matter you want to post into
- Select the Client and the Matter
- In Posting select 04 Office Disbursement which will open
- Select O4 from the drop-down list
If the disbursement is a payment of an anticipated disbursement, this will need to be selected from the Prebilled drop down menu
This will auto populate the fields for the disbursement based on the anticipated disbursement, which can be edited if required
- Select Date
- Enter Reference
- Enter Description
- Select Type

In the drop down list select where the disbursement is to be paid from:

- Bank
- Petty Cash
- Nominal
- Purchase Ledger

- Enter Gross Amount
- Enter VAT Amount
- Select VAT Rate
- Select if posting is a Debit or Credit
- Enter Payee (Optional)
- Click 'Post.'
