This article shows how to ID/AML checks using Veriphy within Insight
Veriphy - ID/AML
Integrated ID/AML checks are now a feature of Insight using Veriphy. Please visit https://veriphy.com to set up your account.
A check can be run against a Client or Contact already saved on the database, or there is an option to perform a separate ID/AML check.
**Please note that Company ID and AML checks cannot be carried out using the integration but can be performed using the Veriphy website.**
Setting up Veriphy
- Go to 'System'
- Select 'Settings'
- Select 'External Services'
- Right Click within the External Services Window
- Left Click on 'Add Veriphy Account'
- Enter in the 'User Name' and 'Password' provided by Veriphy
- Click 'Save'
Performing an ID/AML Check
- The ID/AML checks can be performed in 3 locations within Insight.
1. Cases Menu > ID/AML
2. Client Maintenance
3. Contact Maintenance
Select the type of check you wish to carry out
- Select Service from the drop-down list
**Each service will confirm when selected which checks will be carried out.**
**You can then either navigate through using the options on the left-hand side or by clicking on the ‘Next’ button in the bottom right hand corner**
Enter Details
Enter any other details that have not been pre-populated from data saved
There are required fields on this screen in order to perform the check
- Title
- Forename
- Surname
- Date of Birth
- Gender
Step Three: Address
Click ‘Import’ to enter the saved address into the relevant boxes
**If no address is available, the import option will not be shown, and you will need to enter the address manually**
**A check can be performed against Postcode only**
Communication
- Click 'Import' to enter any saved communication details
ID/AML Check
- Enter all relevant ID numbers
- Hover over the 'i' icon for more information if required
- All ID fields are optional; however, in summary, a warning will be shown if you have not filled any in.
**You will need to enter the passport number in full, including all the < characters shown on the passport**
Summary
The summary screen will display any warnings and errors you need to correct before the check can be carried out.
Correct all errors in the list, then click on ‘Submit Check’.
**A warning will appear if you try and submit the check with outstanding errors**
Results
Results are available once the check has been submitted. They can be accessed in the Client or Contact Maintenance Screen in the ID/AML tab.
- Results show as ‘PASS’, ‘ALERT’ or ‘FAIL’
- A SmartScore figure will also be available
- Click View
- Click ‘Open PDF’ to see the detailed result
**Please note that the PDF cannot be printed**
