This article describes the Transaction Grid and how to use it within Insight
The Transaction Grid enables users to view all transactions, and delete certain transaction types, provided they have not been cleared on the bank reconciliation.
Deleted transactions are not removed from the database and can be viewed on the matter ledgers.
Posting Types that can be deleted using the Transactions Grid are as follows:

- C2- Client Cheque
- C5- Client Transfer
- CI - Interest Transfer
- D2 - Deposit Cheque
- N2 - Nominal Cheque
- N9 - Nominal Journal
- O2 - Office Cheque
- O5 - Office Transfer

- Go to Accounts > Transactions Grid
- Enter the date, ledger and posting filters to narrow down your search
**You can search for postings by the transaction date and/or the posting date**
- Click Run
All postings that meet the entered criteria will appear. If the posting type is one that can be soft deleted the Delete Transaction button will appear next to the posting as shown below.
To navigate to the Ledger or Cashbook detailed in the entry click on the blue hyperlink and the relevant screen will appear in a new tab
- If deleting a transaction a pop up will appear. Select 'Yes' to delete the transaction
Step 5:
- Select 'OK' on the next pop up.
Step 6:
- Go to Case Enquiry and look up the relevant Matter
- Select the Matter Ledger
The entry will now appear as crossed out on your ledger, this will no longer be accounted for in the balance and will not appear on your bank reconciliation.
