This article shows how to add a custom Document Register types within Insight
System Settings
- Click on System > Settings > Period and Years
Add Year
- Click on Add in the Settings section.
- Click Save once the new year has been added.
Lock & Unlock Periods
- Click on a Year and then select a Period
- Within the "Period Details" you can then tick the box to either "Lock / Unlock Postings" and "Time Recordings" for a particular period
- Posting Locked: When this is selected it prevents users from posting financial entries such as bills and disbursements for a particular period.
- Time Locked: This prevents users from time recording for a particular period.
- Once you have completed your set up, remember to click Save.
