This article shows how to use Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) within Insight
Communication Method
- Click on System > Staff > Fee Earners
- Select the user you wish to link
- Click on Communication Methods
- Right click to add communication method and select email from the drop-down menu
External Services
- Once you have entered the relevant email address click on "External Services" and select the email address from the drop down within the SDLT section
**Remember to click "Save" to ensure the user is linked with SDLT**
- If you enter an email address which has already been registered with SDLT, it will cause an error message to appear:
- Once the set up is complete a symbol will appear next to the users name like below:
Mapping SDLT Forms
- To configure an SLDT form, go to System > SDLT Mappings
- When you click on a field you wish to map the "Field Selection" window will appear listing the available fields
- Once you select the field you want to map to the SDLT form you will get the following view:
- Repeat this process for all the fields you wish to add and then click "Save"
Producing SDLT Forms
**SDLT forms can only be produced as part of a Workflow**
- When a task to produce and SDLT form appears within the Workflow simply click on the arrow to start the process
- A new window will pop up which will allow you to check the details are correct before proceeding to click on the green arrow to produce the form
- Once the form is produced you will have an option to "Rename" the document or "Open" the form within the SLDT website
**The form can also be found in the "Matter Files" section of the matter**
If the form is a Draft or has been Rejected, users can right click and "Archive the form.
If the form has been Accepted, users can right click and click Print to save the form as a PDF for the matter
