Enabling the Favourites Widget

Select the Home tab

In Settings, tick the check box under the heading of Favourites
- Click the Save icon
- A new section will open to the right of the screen names 'Favourites'
Marking a Matter as a Favourite
- Select Case Enquiry
- Use Matter Lookup
- Search for a Client and/or Matter
- To mark the selected matter as a Favourite, click the star icon to the far right of the screen
**The favourite star icon is also available within the ‘Matter Posting’ screen, depending on user access**

- If required, when launching a favourite matter through Matter Posting, it is also possible to set a default Posting Type
- Please Note: Launch Matter Posting and Posting Type will only apply to users who have access to Matter Posting
- There are no limits to the number of matters you may flag as a favourite
Viewing Favourites from the Home Screen
All matters you have flagged as a favourite will now appear within the Favourite widget on your Home Screen.
The matter reference, matter description, department, matter type and the number of linked clients on the matter will be displayed.
Hover over the number of clients to view the client references and names associated with the matter.
Depending on the options chosen when selecting the matter as a favourite, there may be an icon to launch the matter in Case Enquiry and an icon to launch the matter in Matter Posting.
These options can be amended by selecting the star icon against the relevant matter, either via the Client Enquiry screen or ‘Matter Posting’ screen.
- Launch Case Enquiry
- Launch Matter Posting
- Select the relevant icon to launch the matter
Removing a Matter as a Favourite
Once a matter has been closed, it will automatically be removed from all user’s Favourite Widgets.
You may also remove a matter from your Favourites manually. This can be achieved via the Client Enquiry screen or the Matter Posting screen by selecting the star icon against the relevant matter.
