Introduction
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an authentication process that requires you to provide two verification factors to gain access to Unity® Practice Management software. This will help to protect all your personal data
New to MFA? Don't worry it's easy
The introduction of MFA means that you will need to verify your login details on each device you use to access Unity® Practice Management. If you have a PC in the office, a laptop at home, or access our app using your mobile or tablet, you’ll automatically be asked to verify each device:
Once logged in you will receive the following screen. All you need to do is scan the QR code in your authenticator app and then key in the 6 digit code it gives you.

Step 1 - Enter your mobile telephone number and press ‘Continue’ button:
Step 2 - Receive a code to your phone by text:
Step 3 – Enter the 6-digit code into your screen or device:

Want to log in faster?
Depending on your device settings, the first time you use MFA, you may be asked if you would like to log in to Unity® Practice Management faster. You have two options:
1. Click on the pink ‘Continue’ button to set up the device’s fingerprint, facial recognition or PIN for your Unity® Practice Management log-in
OR
2. Click ‘No Thanks’ to ignore this option and proceed
If you have selected ‘yes’ you will be asked which faster log-in option you wish to set up, it can be a PIN or Fingerprint
