This article explains how to enable pop-ups in Unity® Practice Management.
Enabling Pop-ups
When the Unity® Practice Management reports, e-chits, and attendance notes load, they load as a ‘pop-up’.
Pop-ups need to be allowed for the webpage to allow you to view reports, e-chits, and attendance notes.
You will receive the following message if your pop-ups are disabled:
You will then need to enable your pop-ups; how that happens will depend on your browser.
Chrome
In Chrome:
- Select the icon to the right of the Unity® Practice Management website link as shown below
- Then select 'always to allow pop-ups' and press Done.
Edge
In Edge
- Select the Blocked Ad icon to the right of the Unity® Practice Management website link
- Then select Always Allow Pop-ups and press Done.
Firefox
The Firefox message will appear at the top of your screen as shown below.
- Simply press Options and then Allow pop-ups.
- Once this has been done, any reports, e-chits and anything else should generate correctly without this needing to be done again.
Safari
To enable all pop-ups:
- Open the Safari browser.
- Click Safari in the top-left menu bar and select Settings (or Preferences on older macOS versions).
- Click on the Websites tab.
- Scroll down the left-hand sidebar and select Pop-up Windows.
- Under When visiting other websites in the bottom right corner, choose Allow from the drop-down menu to permit all pop-ups globally.
To allow pop-ups for only a specific website:
- Navigate to the site in Safari.
- Go to Safari > Settings > Websites > Pop-up Windows.
- Find the site in the Currently Open Websites list and change its setting to Allow.
- Open your Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap Apps, then tap Safari.
- Scroll down to the General section and find the Block Pop-ups toggle.
- Toggle the switch OFF (so it is greyed out) to allow all pop-ups.
