This article explains how to add new Client Types and Subcategories and edit existing Client Types in Unity® Accounts.
How to Access Coredata Program.
- Click View and select the Coredata program.
- Click Maintain on the top toolbar.
- Select Client Types to open a Client Type Maintenance window.
Adding a New Client Type
- Click Insert.
- Enter a Code and Description.
- Enter a Sort Order to dictate how items appear on the Client Type list.
- Click Save.
How to Edit an Existing Client Type
- Click on a Client Type from the list.
- The information for the selected Client Type will be displayed in the Details section, where you can edit the information.
- Once you have edited the Client Type details, click Save.
You cannot delete a Client Type on the system, as this could cause data corruption. For further assistance, contact the Unity Technical Support team.
How To Add a Client Type Subcategory
- Select a Client Type from the list.
- Click on the + icon.
- Enter a Subcategory Code and Description.
- Enter a Sort Order to dictate how Subcategory Codes will appear on the list.
- Tick the Active checkmark.
- Click the Checkmark icon to confirm the record.
How to Edit an Existing Client Type Subcategory
- Select the Client Type in the Details section.
- A list of related Client Type Subcategories will be displayed in the lower Subcategories Details section.
- Select the Client Type Subcategory you wish to delete and click on the Delete icon next to the + icon.
