This article will walk you through how to post and send back e-Chits to Fee Earners in Unity ® Practice Management.
How to Access this Option
- Open the Accounts Program.
- Click the e-Chits option.
- You will see a list of e-Chits that have been sent through by Fee Earners.
Sorting e-Chits
You can sort e-Chits by any of the columns. To do this:
- Click on the Column Heading.
- Click on the Arrow in the column to sort your e-Chits by ascending or descending order.
Sending e-Chits Back to Fee Earners
If a Fee Earner has sent through an e-Chit that is incorrect or needs to be updated, you have the option to send it back to be updated or deleted as required. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Select an e-Chit to be sent back to the Fee Earner.
- Click Send Back at the top menu bar.
- Click Yes to confirm.
How to Post e-Chits
- Double-click the relevant entry.
- You will be navigated to the Posting screen, and all fields have been pre-populated with the information entered by the Fee Earner.
- Click Post to complete, and the system will return you to the list of e-Chits awaiting posting.
**When you click Cancel at the top menu bar, you will be navigated back to the list of your e-Chits**.
