This article contains release notes for Insight Legal during November 2025.
During November 2025, we are pleased to be rolling out the latest product release, v1.49, consisting of Contact Extract, Client Extract, Additional Direct Links between Screens, and Matter List Report.
1. Contact Extract
• This gives you the ability to extract contacts from the platform and save them to an Excel sheet.
• The following filters have been included for Contact Extract: Contact Type and Allow Marketing filter.
2. Client Extract
• This gives you the ability to extract clients from the platform and save them to an Excel sheet.
• The following filters have been added: Type of Client, Introducer, and Allow Marketing filter.
For Matter Filters, the following filters are available:
• Department Type
• Matter Type
• Date Ranges
After clicking the Extract button on either screen, an Excel sheet will be produced, and users will be prompted to choose the file name and location where the extract should be saved. By default, the file name will be 'Client list' or 'Contact list', including the date and time stamp of the extraction, but this can be amended. |
3. Additional Direct Links between Screens
• Additional direct linking to commonly used screens has been included in this version.
• You can navigate easily between these screens: Case Enquiry, Matter Maintenance, Time Recording Maintenance, Matter Posting and Client Maintenance.
4. Update to the Matter List Report
• As part of the Version 1.49 update, a new column option called the Archive Number has been added to the Matter Listing Report.
• This feature allows filtering by archive number, such as less than, not equal to, equal to, or greater than a specified Archive Number.
• If the Archive Number column is selected as an option, it will now be visible when generating a report.
