There are four Report Types that can be chosen from for this report:
Report Types
1. Matter
This report type allows you to run a report based on the status of the bill. When selecting the matter report, this will show you the total bill and will also include a breakdown of the bill, which shows you costs, VAT, disbursements, and gives you the status of the bill as well.
2. Fee Earner
This report type allows you to run a report based on the status of the bill. When selecting the Fee Earner report type, this will just show you the total costs for the bill, along with the current status of that bill as well. This report will show you the breakdown of the bill per Fee Earner. This will allow you to see who has been allocated the costs for each bill.
3. Aged Debtors
The aged debtors' report allows you to run a report that shows you how long a bill has been outstanding for. You can choose a date that you wish to run this report up to, and, as with the Matter and Fee Earner report type, you can add filters to this report. You can also add a summary to this report, which will show the total amount of the bill outstanding, the total amount owed on a particular matter, or the total amount owed by a particular client.
4. Billing Success
With the billing success report, this compares the total time on a matter, vs. total billed on a matter, vs. total paid. This report will only show closed matters in the system, which have been closed within the date range you have input into the report.
