This article explains how to add and edit a Rate Scheme in Unity® Practice Management.
General Information
This maintenance option allows you to:
- Add new rate schemes.
- Edit existing rate schemes.
How to Access this Option
- Open the Accounts program.
- Click the Maintenance icon.
- Double-click the Rate Schemes option.
How to Add a Rate Scheme
- Click Insert.
- Enter a Description.
- Select the date on which the new scheme comes into effect.
- Tick the Private checkbox if the new scheme relates to private rather than legal aid rates.
- Click Save.
How to Edit a Rate Scheme
- A list of existing rate schemes will display in the lower section of the window. Click the required record to select it, and that record will turn blue.
- The information for the selected record will display in the upper section of the window. Any field can be edited. Simply re-enter the new information.
- Click Save.
How to Delete a Rate Scheme
You cannot delete a Rate Scheme from the system, as this could cause data corruption. Contact the Quill technical support department for assistance.
