This article describes the Time Recording Update Utility within the Accounts section of Unity® Practice Management
This utility posts any pending time records through to the ledger cards.
How To Access This Utility
- Log into Quill Guard
- Select Accounts
- Click the Utilities icon:
- Double click the Time Recording Update option.
How To Use This Utility
- By default the system will ensure all pending time records are posted through to the ledger cards. To override this do either of the following:
- Select a different date range then click Refresh
- Remove the tick from the Update checkbox to exclude a particular fee earner.
- Click Update
- Certain time records may be rejected because the utility experienced problems processing them. Click Error Report to display a list of rejected records.
- The error report will display a reason why each record was unsuccessful (e.g. no attendance type selected).
- The error report is printable.
- You will need to return to the Accounts time recording screen in order to correct the offending time records.
