This article explains how to access, create, print, and reorder Ledger Cards.
Access a Ledger Card
- Open the Accounts program.
- Click the Ledgers icon.
- Select Supplier (Purchase) Ledger
- Enter the name of the ledger and press Find.
Create A Ledger Card
- Click the Supplier (Purchase) Ledger tab.
- Select the search method:
- By default, the system will search by matter code. An alternative can be selected via the dropdown menu.
- Enter the information to search for:
- The type of information entered will vary depending on the search method chosen in step 1.
- For more accurate results, enter as much information as possible.
- Tick the Show Inactive checkbox to include inactive nominals.
- Click Find, and the search results will be displayed.
- Double-click the required record to raise the purchase ledger card.
Print a Ledger Card
- Click File on the top toolbar.
- Select Print from the dropdown menu.
Display Transaction Details On A Ledger Card
- You can display additional details for any purchase ledger invoice. First select the transaction by clicking any of its fields, then click.
- The Invoice Details pop-up window allows you to view invoice details, split details, and payment history. Here you have easy access to the relevant nominal ledger cards by selecting a record, then clicking "Options" > "View Nominal Ledger" or by pressing the keys CTRL and N together.
Reorder Transactions On A Ledger Card
- Click a transaction heading (e.g., Date, Ref, Narrative) to reorder the transactions according to the results in that particular column. An arrow will appear to show which heading is currently selected.
- By default, the system will order transactions by ID number.
- Click a heading twice to display the transactions in reverse order.
Post Directly From A Ledger Card
- Click Posting on the top toolbar.
- Select a chit type from the dropdown menu.
