This article will guide users in navigating the View/Filter Contacts page in Unity® Practice Management.
Increasing Number of Contacts Per Page
To increase the number of contacts you see on a page, select your Initials in the bottom left-hand corner, then Settings:
Then select the Tools dropdown:
From the Tools dropdown list, select Preferences, and from there, select the Grid Rows Per Page dropdown list and choose to view either 5, 10, 20, 50, or 99 rows per page:
Once you have selected the number of rows per page you require, select Submit to update your preferences:
View/Filter Contacts
Navigate to the Client and Cases icon and click on Filter Case Contacts:
Filter on
Type in the name of the contact and select Filter, this will bring up a list of contacts matching the search criteria:
Filter Contact Type
Select the contact type from the dropdown list, i.e., Accountant and all contacts labelled accountant will be listed. Contact types can be maintained under the Tools.
Expand/ Collapse All
Select Expand/Collapse All to view all the cases that are attached to a contact:
To go back to the original view, select Expand/Collapse All again.
Expand Contact
Select the Expand icon to expand the contact and view their contact details:
Select the Minimize icon to collapse the contact details again.
Expand Cases
Select the Expand icon next to the matter code to expand the list of cases attaches to the contact:
Select the Minimize icon again to collapse the case details.
Case
To go to the case summary, select the case number hyper-link:
Email
Select the Email icon to open a new email window that has the contact’s email address already populated:
Edit
Select Edit to amend the contact details:
Delete Contact
Select the Bin to delete the contact:
Case Link/ Unlink
Go to the dropdown list to link the contact to the current case you are hooked onto or to unlink from another case:
