This article explains how to raise Time Ledger Cards in Unity® Practice Management.
How To Access A Ledger Card
- Open the Accounts program.
- Click the Ledger Cards icon.
How to Raise a Ledger Card
- Click the Accounts/Time tab.
- Select a Search method by clicking on the dropdown arrow.
- Enter the information to search for. The information you enter here depends on the search method you have selected.
- Tick the checkbox to view Archived Matters only
- Click Find, and the search results will be displayed.
Click the required record.
Click the Display Ledger dropdown arrow, and select Time Ledger Card.
How to Display Different Types of Information on a Ledger Card
- Click View on the top toolbar.
- Select to display:
- All records
- Records grouped by Fee Earner
- Records grouped by attendance code
**You can also make these selections by clicking the row of tabs situated immediately above the transaction headings.**
How to Print a Ledger Card
- Click File on the top toolbar.
- Select Print from the dropdown menu.
How to Reorder Time Records on a Ledger Card
- Click a transaction heading (e.g. Date, F/E, Cost) to reorder the transactions according to the results in that column.
- An arrow will appear to show which heading is currently selected:
- By default the system will order transactions by ID number.
- Click a heading twice to display the transactions in reverse order.
How to Switch to an Accounts Ledger Card
- Click View on the top toolbar.
- Select Accounts Ledger from the dropdown menu.
