This article explains how to add and edit the Disbursement Type in Unity® Practice Management.
How to Access this Option
- Open the Accounts program
- Click the Maintenance icon
- Double-click the Disbursement Type option
How to Add Disbursement Type
- Click Insert
- Enter a Code and Description
- Select a VAT rate
- Enter a Sort order to dictate how items appear on the Disbursement Type list.
- Untick the Active checkbox to mark the Disbursement Type as inactive. The Disbursement Type will no longer be available for selection within the Accounts and Coredata programs
- Click Save
How to Edit a Disbursement Type
- Click on a Disbursement Type from the list
- The information for the selected Disbursement Type will be displayed in the Details section, and any field can be edited
- Once you have edited the Disbursement Type Details, click Save
How to Delete a Disbursement Type
You cannot delete an item; instead, you can make it inactive. Follow the steps below to make a Disbursement Type inactive.
- Click on the Disbursement Type from the list
- Untick the Active checkbox
- Click Save
** By default, inactive items are not displayed within the Accounts and Coredata program or on the reports unless you specifically request to view them via the options. **
