This article explains how to add and edit SPAN 2 Code in Unity® Practice Management. 

General Information 

This maintenance option allows you to: 

• Add a new SPAN 2 code.
• Edit a SPAN 2 code. 

How to Access this Option 

1. Open the Coredata program.
2. Click Maintain on the top toolbar to enable a dropdown menu.
3. Select Legal Aid & SPAN Reference Tables SPAN 2. 

How to Add a SPAN 2 Code 

1. Select a Franchise Code.
2. Click Insert.
3. Enter a Code.
4. Enter a Description.
5. Click Save.

How to Edit a SPAN 2 Code 

1. Select a Franchise Code.
2. A list of existing SPAN 2 codes will display in the lower section of the window. Click the required record to select it, and that record will turn blue.
3. The information for the selected record will display in the upper section of the window. Any field can be edited. Simply re-enter the new information.
4. Click Save.

How to Delete a SPAN 2 Code 

You cannot delete a SPAN 2 Code from the system, as this could cause data corruption. Contact the Quill technical support department for assistance
