This article explains how to produce Client Care Letters in Unity® Practice Management.
General Information
- This Utility allows you to archive and unarchive matters.
- It checks for incomplete undertakings and outstanding bank reconciliation items before archiving. These checks can be disabled at the client's request to speed up the archiving process.
How to Access this Utility
- Open the Coredata program.
- Click MS-Word on the lower toolbar.
How to Produce Client Care Letters
- The Search option allows you to search for a client.
- Select a Search Type from the left-hand menu, then enter your search criteria into the right-hand text field.
- Click Find, and the search results will display in the window below. Click a record to select it.
- To select several non-consecutive clients, hold down the Ctrl key and click the required records to select them.
- To select several consecutive clients, hold down the Shift key and click the top and bottom records to select them.
- You need to select a Microsoft Word template file to export the information to. A list of available template files will appear in the right-hand window. Click a record to select it.
- If the right-hand window is blank, this means the folder where the utility is pointing to on your computer/network does not contain any Microsoft Word template files.
- To point the utility to a different folder, click Template Folder, which will open a file browser window. You can now navigate to and select a different default folder.
- Once you have selected at least one client and a template file, click Create Document to commence the export procedure.
