This article describes the functionality of the integration between Unity® Practice Management and Unity® Search
Conveyancing Search
When connected to a case:
- Click on Conveyancing Solutions drop down
- Select Conveyancing Search
This will open a side bar to Verify Property Details, if details are already present this screen will pre-populate.
- Add or change the address here if required
- Click Confirm And Order
- It will open into Unity® Searches
- Complete the search as normal and once done it will return to the Unity homepage
Orders Summary
Provides a summarised list of all orders on all cases filterable by case or user
- When not connected to a case click on Conveyancing Solutions
- Select Orders Summary
- This will display all cases practice wide showing details on

- Order Date
- Address
- Status
- Completed searches

- It also provides Actions for each case:

- Save to Case
- Create E-Chit

Save to Case
- Clicking on the Eye symbol of the Completed section will show how the total number of searches requested on this order along with their respective statuses.
- Under the Action area Save to Case you can:

- Edit individual document name, date, version, add labels, notes and select the save folder location
- The Bulk Actions tab allows edits to all document and upload them collectively in a single step
- Click Upload when complete

Any Documents saved are accessible through the main menu in Documents
Create E-Chit
- Create a financial transaction E-chit from Order Summary, click Create E-chit
- Financial details are retrieved directly from Unity Searches and shows the total cost of the order
- Complete mandatory elements of E-Chit
- Click Proceed
- The E-Chit has then been posted to the relevant Ledger
Unity® Searches
- Select Go to Unity® Searches to be taken directly to the Unity® Searches platform for more detailed exploration of order statuses.
